The Voice

In this latest DCI Steve Burt murder mystery he becomes a father for the first time and on his return to work finds himself thrust into a complex investigation involving murder and car jacking all controlled by a mysterious criminal mastermind known to his subordinates only as “the Voice”. No one knows who he is and no one has ever met him. Finding this mysterious criminal will be an almost impossible task and when Steve’s old army commander asks him to look into the disappearance of his son who is a serving soldier the DCI has no idea how this disappearance and his impossible search for “the Voice” will interconnect and lead him to unearth a major conspiracy at the heart of government. We see the DCI work his way through a world of secret weapons, international intrigue, terrorism, murder and corruption.
